618 taphouse the best bar in southern Illinois. I came here all the way from Texas to get a taste of the best 10/10. If you’re not at 618 like 🤷♂️ what are you going.
First time here and we were welcomed by Mike the bartender with a warm smile and greeting.. I requested a pink martini and Mike came through (pics below) I ordered the Italian beef and hubby ordered steak quesadilla!! Yum!! As if.....lol!! Whenever we are in Marion Illinois this will be our spot!!
My wife and I love 618 Tap House. By far, in our opinion, their best employee is Eric A. He is always so attentive , prompt in service and makes by far the best mixed drinks, hands down. He is always polite and friendly and makes great food recommendations. A professional employee in every manner, 618 Tap House should be happy to have him.
Everything was delicious 😋🤤 Smash burgers were cooked perfectly and topped with their house sauce!! Yummy. Cajun fries were spicy n delicious. Dbl Malibu & pineapple hit the spot and washed it all down well.
618 Taphouse in Marion, IL is Legit. They have an amazing Gluten free menu I had six different ladies helping me out seriously an amazing experience. Drove 3 hours to play a music show here and was worried about finding a place with a Gluten Free menu. Seriously a God send.
We received exceptional service including prompt service, and a welcoming engaging personality from our bartender/ waitress Shelby. She was tentative and friendly even when it was busy. We will definitely be returning!
This place was amazing! There was 3 girls waiting. I have never seen a restaurant where all the waiters stopped and asked if we were good and how everything was. This by far was the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant. The food was so good. If I am ever back in Marion Illinois we will definitely be back. Kuddos to the owner. Amazing place
I am a frequent flyer as one might say and 618 tap house always exceeds my expectations. The staff are friendly and quite charming. My very friendly and attentive bartender, Perri H. recommended that I try the strawberry beer that they provide on tap and it was excellent. They always have an extraordinary selection on tap, best I’ve seen in the area. Many of the bartenders are amazing but Perri H. takes the time to cultivate an experience and atmosphere that others should strive to imitate. I will always recommend 618 tap house to anyone looking for great food and an amazing drink.
FANTASY RE-OPENING!!! Perri and Emily were both very active in making sure that our experience was phenomenal! Our food came out quickly and it was delicious as well. We ordered a little bit of a complicated drink and the bartenders executed perfectly. Service, atmosphere, food, was above and beyond excellent. I’m so proud of this establishment and all of their hard work to make sure improvements were made, as a former Taphouse employee…I can 100% say true and honestly that 618 Taphouse has returned to its glory. HIGHLY recommend this place for a good time, excellent food, and servers that care about making sure those expectations are met! Come from 3-6 for happy hour prices and make sure to follow their Facebook/instagram for more updates!!!
I’ve spent a lot of time at 618, eating, drinking, and sometimes doing both at the same time, and I can tell you this place delivers every single time. If you’re anywhere in the surrounding area, do yourself a favor and make the trip to 618. The food is on point, the drinks never miss, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want: the kind of place you walk into planning to stay an hour and somehow end up there all night. People throw around “great food and great atmosphere” in every review, but I take my reviews seriously. I don’t hand out praise just to hand it out. Head Chef Noah absolutely knows what he’s doing in that kitchen. You can tell there’s real skill, consistency, and pride behind the food coming out of there. 618 isn’t just another spot to grab a bite it’s a place you keep coming back to. Highly recommend. 🔥
